Academically, Middle School is the preparation for Upper School. Serving as the transition years between lower and upper school, the middle school team provides a bridge, while also preparing students in rigorous classes. The Adviser Teams, designed to support each student in all areas of life, allow students the comfort of having a faculty liaison that is there for academic and social support. Each student has an adviser who observes academic progress, provides additional curricular help if needed, facilitates parent/teacher meetings, monitors social concerns, and serves as the communication link for parents. Eighth grade students have the opportunity to take several courses for Upper School credit. It is the goal of the Middle School team to prepare each student for his or her Upper School experience.
